Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe

What could be more yummy than making and having your own homemade strawberry ice cream? If you follow my homemade strawberry ice cream recipe, I can assure you that you are going to simply love it.

Ingredients

2 cups of fresh strawberries mashed and cooled

2 beaten egg yolks

100 g of sugar

250 ml of full cream milk

300 ml of double cream

Method

To start with your homemade strawberry ice cream, mix together the egg, sugar and fresh strawberries mashed in a bowl. Pour the milk into a sauce pan and heat it slowly but don’t bring it to boil. Remove the sauce pan from the gas as the milk comes close to boil. Add the milk back to the bowl to mix it with eggs and sugar mixture. Once after mixing it, put this new mixture back to the sauce pan and start over the gentle heating process. Once it comes close to the boiling point again, switch off the gas and remove the sauce pan from the stove. Leave the mixture to cool now.

As you notice that the mixture has cooled off, add the double cream to the mixture and place it in the ice cream maker to have your homemade strawberry ice cream ready. You may also use the refrigerator process if you don’t own an ice cream maker. After a while as it is frozen, your homemade strawberry ice cream is ready. Serve it chilled to your family.
